Domestic Formulations
Domestic formulation business of RPG Life Sciences manufactures and markets branded finished dosage formulations in India.
The business has major presence in over 10 therapeutic areas including Nephrology, Oncology, Urology, Respiratory, Vitamins & Minerals, Gastro Intestinal, Pain Management, Cardio-vascular, etc.
The product portfolio of the company includes some of the well-known textbook brands such as Aldactone, Serenace, Naprosyn, Azoran, Lomotil and Lomofen+.
Main Division
Main Division develops, manufactures and markets branded formulations across a wide therapeutic spectrum. The therapeutic areas catered to by Main Division include Gastro Intestinal, Respiratory, Pain Management, Anti Diabetic, Cardio-vascular, Gynaecology & Pediatrics, Vitamins & Minerals, etc.
The division has been serving these therapeutic areas for more than five decades through it legacy brands - Aldactone in Cardiovascular, Lomotil and Lomofen+ in Gastrointestinal, Naprosyn in Pain Management, Serenace in Neurology and Azoran in Nephrology.
Nephrocare Division
For over two decades, the Nephrocare division at RPG Life Sciences has been in the management of Chronic Kidney Diseases, kidney transplant, high end infections and dialysis.
The Division has some landmark brands that has revolutionized the therapy in the Chronic Kidney Disease management. It is proud to have the patent brand of Cyclosporine in micro- emulsion technology - ARPIMUNE ME. The division has also been a pioneer to launch AZORAN (Azathioprine), indigenously developed and manufactured in India, thus making the product available to Indian masses not depending on imported brands.
The in-house R&D team has also developed for the first time in India - The Only Indigenously developed Medicinal Ketoanalogue - ALFALOG which is approved by the DCGI as medicinal grade ketoanalogue.
Today, as per ORG- IMS Nephrocare division of RPG Life Sciences Ltd has been ranked as No. 1 company among the players in this therapeutic area.
In the recent past, the division has expanded its wings in the area of critical care. The objective is to further make inroads in the area of Nephrology through the support of Critical care. Several high end injectables have been introduced for high end infection management. Nephrocare now caters to highly specialised transplant, dialysis and high end infection management drugs to restore the essence of life.
Neolife Division
Neolife division at RPG Life Sciences was launched in July 2010 with a product mix of chemotherapy, supportive care and palliative care.
The division has been in line with its motto of launching advanced formulations with enhanced efficacy and safety. It launched NabPac, a nano particle bound paclitaxel, which has several advantages compared to its predecessor.
The division is looking forward to expand it biological and biosimilar portfolio. It launched a biosimilar, HerMab, which is used in the treatment of breast cancer.
Neolife division is in the process of launching few more advanced formulations by the way of in-licensing and co-development.
Urolife Division
RPG Life Sciences launched Urolife division in 2016, a division that touches the lives of patients suffering from Urological diseases. Urology is a branch of medical sciences that deals with the diseases of Prostate, Bladder, Urethra, Ureter and Kidneys.
It all started by acquisition of Sildura & Tamflo brands, legacy molecules in respective categories. The division has been built by new launches to emerge as a full integrated Urology division.
